Anthropological Index of the Royal Anthropological Institute
Index to about 750 anthropology journals from 1957 to the present. No abstracts or full text.
Anthropology Review Database
Signed, refereed reviews of anthropological literature. Sources reviewed.
AnthroSource
Index (with some full text) to anthropology literature. Sponsored by the American Anthropological Association (AAA).
ArchAtlas
Provides maps and imagery which complement our understanding of the ancient world. Includes both "reference" material and interpretative material such as reconstructed trade routes.
GenderWatch
A full text database of journals, newsletters and research reports on women. Two simultaneous users.
GEOBASE
Available through FirstSearch. Contains citations with abstracts of periodicals on geography, geology, ecology, and related disciplines. Includes some anthropology journals.
GeoScience World/GeoRef
GeoScience World provides full text to a selection of core geology journals including American Mineralogist, Economic Geology, Geology, and GSA Bulletin. In addition, it links to a basic search engine for GeoRef.
JSTOR archive
Provides access to the full text of over 300 scholarly journals across many subject areas. The objective of JSTOR is to provide all issues back to Volume 1, Issue 1 for all journals. (Due to copyright restrictions, the most recent 3-5 years are unavailable.)
National Anthropological Archives
From the Smithsonian Institution. Includes manuscripts, fieldnotes, correspondence, photographs, maps, sound recordings, film and video created by Smithsonian anthropologists and other scholars.
National Archeological Database
Sponsored by the National Park Service. Includes an inventory of over 200,000 reports on archeological planning and investigation. NADB-Reports can be queried by state, county, worktype, cultural affiliation, keyword, material, year of publication, title, and author.
