Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance: The Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance lists and describes over 1,000 federal domestic assistance programs (grants, loans, fellowships, loan guarantees, insurance) administered by federal agencies. Searchable by keyword or subject.
ED.gov: U.S. Department of Education. This site gives information on how to find and apply for government grants.

FedGrants.gov: Searchable postings of recent grants from major federal agencies. Offers an XML database download, updated daily.
Grants.gov: Allows organizations to electronically find and apply for competitive grant opportunities from all Federal grant-making agencies. Grants.gov is THE single access point for over 900 grant programs offered by the 26 Federal grant-making agencies.

Federal Grant Resources (Small Business Administration): SBA offers grants that "are generally designed to expand and enhance organizations that provide small business management, technical, or financial assistance. Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs: Site from the U. S. State Department which administers the U.S. governments cultural and educational exchange programs, including the Fulbright Program.

National Historical Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC): The grant-making affiliate of the National Archives and Records Administration, "the NHPRC promotes the preservation and use of America's documentary." Works to preserve and publish "the primary sources of the American story in its many forms."
