Finding Materials in Special Collections at Milne Library
- Special Collections
- Access to book collections is through the online catalog. The single code SCC above the call number commonly designates Alden Room materials. Call numbers with NYS and/or CASE indicate New York State collection volumes which are also housed in Special Collections.
- Archival Collections
- The SCC archival collections are a small, but representative, body of historical materials that illuminate the development of the college. To use materials in the Archives contact Heather Heyduk at 436-3585.
- New York State History - Clippings File
- Clippings from local newspapers and other sources. New York State Room.
- Oneontan - (1894-present) OVERSIZE LH 1 O64 O6 4 week Reserve
- Oneonta State yearbook.
- Books on Oneonta History
- On reserve under instructor name Doughty. These may be checked out and used in the library for two hours at a time.

- Includes full-text of national newspapers, magazines, newswires, university wires, newsletters, news transcripts, and more. For local, add the place name to the search. Good for researching cities or regions with similar problems.

- Includes full-text of this major national newspaper.

- The following newspapers are on microfilm in the Periodical Room on level P in the library. These are in the cabinets alphabetical by title of the newspaper. Use the microform machine on the right side immediately inside the door to make copies and save them to your P drive or a USB drive.
